Ordering of Spare Parts and Accessories
In our large warehouse we have approximately 12,000 different articles for our customers who own DG or LS gliders in stock. All current spare parts are ready to be sent out promptly. In general we ship all our spare parts and accessories with UPS. Air cushion envelopes are sent by regular mail. Orders placed before noon will leave our facility on the same day. Although our depot is huge, it may occur that a specific part is not in stock. Our warehouse staff will therefore be happy to inform you about availabilities and give you a scheduled delivery date. In order to guarantee a smooth processing of your order please consider the following points:
Spare Parts Department opening hours
Our Spare Parts Department is open between 7:00 and 16:00 CET. We are happy to receive your calls as well as welcome you at DG in case you choose to pick up your spare parts in person.
Online Order Form
In order to quickly and efficiently process your dispatch we kindly ask you to use the following online order form:
In your current maintenance manual you will find the serial numbers of all salable spare parts for your sailplane. To avoid confusion or misunderstandings, please remember to indicate this number on your order. If you are unable to find a precise description of the desired part, you may as well take a picture of the component and submit it together with the online order form.
In any case, please make sure to submit your complete billing and shipping address. Especially with clubs, names and addresses of contact persons do change more often. So please understand that our data base might not always be perfectly updated.
If you own a glider which is affected by our Service Agreement, please submit your current reference number with your order. Please be aware that without the reference number we will not be able to process your order.
When you are sending in parts and electronics for repair, please keep in mind to label them properly, so we can always identify your goods. Once you are shipping articles from foreign (not EU) countries, you should respect the following points:
- A proforma invoice has to be placed on the outside of your package.
- On your pro forma invoice the spare part needs to be precisely characterized. Please remember to indicate “for repair”on the paperwork.
- To avoid paying needless taxes and custom charges, please call our spare part service before sending in your package to help you calculate the correct value of your used article.
Minimum Order Quantity
The minimum order value will be 30,00 € after tax. For smaller order quantities we are charging a fee of up to 10,00 € – except for pickups by the customer.
German customers may pay their goods via credit card, money transfer or bank debit memo. Foreign customers can either pay with a credit card or make a prepayment.
