Sonnenuntergang in Lesce/Slowenien
Hallo Friedel,
sie kam doch noch, die Welle in Lesce.
An unserem letzten Flugtag am 21. Juni bei 45 km/h Wind aus SW gelang uns der Einstieg in die Welle.
Ljublana Information erteilte eine kurzfristige Freigabe bis FL 120.
Da ging es eigentlich erst richtig zur Sache. Die Welle stand konstant mit 2 m/s.
Der Blick über die Julischen Alpen unter einer Wolkendecke und über die Landschaft war einfach traumhaft.
Ein stimmungsvolles Bild vom Sonnenuntergang am 17. Juni auf dem Flugplatz mit unserer DG505.
Auch ein Kandidat für das Foto des Monats.
An dieser Stelle noch einmal herzlichen Dank für den gemeinsamen Flug in der DG 1000-T.
Ich gebe die Hoffnung nicht auf, dass wir in naher Zukunft Eigentümer dieses wundervollen Flugzeuges werden.

Sunset in Lesce/Slovenia
Hello Friedel,
At the end the wave came up in Lesce.
During our last day at June 21st. with 25 knots from SE we found the wave starting point.
Ljublana Information immediately gave us a clearance up to FL 120.
There it worked! Constant climbing of 2m/sek.
It was a magnificient view to the partly clouded Alps.
Here is another nice picture of the sunset June 17th with out DG-505 on the airfield.

I am still hoping that one time we will own such a phantastic glider too.
