DG-Sailplanes reach 1st and 2nd rank in OLC World Ranking
This flight pushed them up to the 1st rank in the OLC World ranking in front of Jean Marc Perrin, who currently is 2nd on his DG-808C Competition.
In the end, DG Sailplanes currently occupy rank 1 and 2 in the OLC World Ranking List in categories "Best Flight", "OLC Champion" and rank 1 in "Champion Speed-OLC"!

This year, DG sailplanes are flying very successful all over the world. Another example is Sigi Samson with his DG-800.
In the Dutch Nationals again Hadriaan van Nes outperformed everybody but one with his DG 800 and became second overall behind the 'unbeatable' Ronald Termaat.
Hadriaan took 2 day trophies and left several Nimbus4, ASG29, Quintus, and Ventus2 behind . . .
Jelmer Wassenaar ended 3rd overall with the LS10 and finished first on the last competition day.

Ambulance Unit for a Boeing Business Jet
DG Flugzeugbau successfully delivered an ambulance unit (Medwall) for a Boeing Business Jet during spring. Principal is the well-known company “Spectrum Aeromed”, which supplied the stretcher unit.
The whole ambulance unit sets a new benchmark with regard to design, quality and functionality.

On Febr. 29th Jim Payne and Dennis Tito were able to perform a great flight over more than 1.800km (>1.120 miles!) with a DG-1001M in the wave of California's Sierra. The average speed of 168 km/h (104 mph) impressively shows the DG-1001M's potential.
Since the Wave Season in Argentina is over now, this ambitious group around Dennis Tito wants to continue hunting long distances in America.
We wish lots of success and great flights in future!

TN-DG-SS-01 - Maintenance Manuals for all DG Aircraft are approved now
From Aug. 31st on the new maintenance manuals for DG-100 up to DG-800 as well as for LS3 are mandatory for all owners of these aircraft. Customers with a Service Agreement will get these manuals for free without any order.
